Default Cleaning Preforated Leather Seats

Hello,

I'm trying to prep my Acura RL to sell after recently purchasing a Q5. The RL has preforated leather seats. Some of the preforations have been clogged either from spills or the leather cleaner I used a couple of years ago. Any ideas/recommendations on how to unclog n clean these type of seats?

Thank You,

I use Lexol conditioner on the leather, and then use toothpicks to remove any leftover conditioner which bridges the holes...

Default perforated

I've had success using two different strategies. The first is to apply Leather Master foam cleaner, let dwell for a bit to soften up trapped residue and dirt, then go over the problem areas with a strong shop vac using care so you don't scratch the leather.

An alternate method is to use a compressed air nozzle, at an angle.

I guess a third would be to use a toothpick + lots of time.

There are soft leather brushes that one attaches to their dual action (Porter Cable) polisher...that may be another solution.

I passed on a used Lexus LS because of the "clogged pores" but when any of my cars have perforated seats I found using a round wooden toothpick and clean each pore individually and it works like a champ and you cant beat the price.
