Default Yup, it's also single stage paint

It will make all of your towels black.

I would.....
Clean
Clay
Cut/clean
Polish
Glaze
Wax/sealent

Good as almost new....

Default I've got a rotary. :-)

You have to supply all the goods though...pads, polishes, MF towels, etc. Ain't none of my stuff touching that paint! But a rotary should really help cut down the time spent reviving it (besides, I need something to practice on). If you want to swing by on a weekend and work on it...let me know. I have a bad right arm, so you'll be doing most of the rotary work.

Default Car Care sells the 8" rotary pads...

... last time I was there I remember Larry had one of the 3M waffle pads too, although the site lists only Meguiar's pads.

Default thanks raj. I actually have a PC 7424, but wasn't sure if I should be using Menzerna products

on single stage paint. The car is actually in my mothers garage since I don't plan on registering her yet until i fix some little stuff. I really want to scrape and cover up as much of the rust as I can too before cleaning her up. Any suggestions w/ that?

Default I know you have a PC, but a rotary will do the job much faster.

The PC is a bear when you're dealing with paint that requires more than average correction.

Anyway, not sure what to do with the rust. I know pep boys has some things you can apply to stop rusting parts from continuing to rust. Drop by there and see what they have. Rustoleum probably sells something similar to what you're after.
