Noticed you mentioned race car with 4agze motor, put one of these in a corrolla in QLD 8 years ago with a mate , What a great motor. I don't think we had them delivered in oz cars

James you are going to be corrected here. 4agze did come out to Australia in the very old style MR2 (the ones which look like the old triumph gtx?). There were a selection of these delivered for factory offloading. I know this because a friend of mine had an Oz delivered one a while ago. Not bad little sprinters. Shat fuel economy though.

The car had a 4age to start with(1997). It was retro fitted with a 4agze from an 1996 AE101 FWD (now RWD). Not massive power with 170hp, but lots of torque, and factory reliable for day in day out thrashing !! in Targa.
