Pry huh? -- it would seem to me it's on a hinge, and that the front area near the area where the ipod goes is in a track as it moves up and down.

I may spring for the ebahn manual since i have to remove the plastic "bridge" piece that spans the steering column as well.

My plan is to run an ipod dock extension cable from the AMI thru the center console, under the steering column and come up and mount the male dock pin-out through the plastic piece between the Speedometer and Tach.
