Hey all, I've got an RNS-E retrofitted in my b5 s4, and haven't bothered hooking up the CAN lines from the cluster.

I'm now looking at installing a kufatec ima media box thing to hook up a DVD player, and note it has CAN low/high wires.

Anyone know if these can hook into the CAN bus already at the back of my RNS-E, or if I need to splice it into the infotainment can-bus from the cluster?

What if I don't hook them up at all, won't work?

Any help much appreciated.
