I'm wondering if the B&O system from the A5/S5 or any of the other 'less expensive' B&O option cars can be retrofit to other models.

I know the higher end system in the D3 A8 cannot be retrofit as it all runs on a fibre channel system, but thought that perhaps the 'down market' system might be normal analog amps and/or speakers.

Anyone know?

Also, I lost track of that 'miracle amp/processor' that won the 'design of the year' award back in 2006 or so - it might have been Infinity or JBL, seems like it was a 'common' brand, but they never got it to market, or I lost track of it after waiting so long. IT supposedly adjusted all the bands automatically using abuilt in mic, but went further than most such systems in 'tuning' the output.

Sound familiar to anyone?

I'm trying to upgrade my amp and possibly speakers while keeping it mostly 'Audi'. The DSP amp would potentially allow retained use of the Bose speakers, or use of B&O speakers.
