Default B6 Subs and Amp Rack Pics

Hello All - new to the forum and wanted to share some photos of the install I did in my 02 A4 1.8TQ. Not the best quality photos - but you can still get an idea. Goal was to preserve as much space as possible ans still fit a pair of 12s and plenty of power.
Also - yes, I know my car is dirty in the pics - but it is monsoon season in AZ so it is an ongoing battle to keep it clean.

Very nice. What are those two things on either side of the small rectangular hole?

Thank you for the compliment - not super flashy nor super stealth but it gets the job done!.
Actually those are the two latches that hold the amp rack snug against the rear deck. the rectangular hole is simply for access to release or engage the latches into the rectangular bracket that is bolted to the underside of the rear deck. Somewhat simple latching mechanism - but it is solid when latched.

Thank you - it seems we have tackled many of the same hurdles installing our audio systems. I must say that I was unaware of the Bose pin function. I am curious to try it because the bass roll off is quite noticeable on many tracks and it is a real pain to constantly have to adjust the sub level remotely. I have a piece of equipment installed in there now that is not shown in the photos that solves the bass roll off issues - I will post soon with new photos and description of how it works.

Default Dude, that install is sexy. I love all the components you used.

You should post this up on MTXrides.com - I'll vote for you.
