Anyone have pictures of wire color codes for the plugs in the rear of a Symphony II/B7 A4/Bose?
Installed my new Audi Ipod adapter today in my 2005.5 A4 and I'm working on the ability to have both SAT and Ipod connected at the same time.
There are only 3 wires that are replaced on the Symphony II when you install the Ipod adapter. Unfortunately my picures I took as I was installing are all washed out and don't show the colors well.
You can follow the saga in the B7 A4 forum at the link below if you're interested...

john, I'm working on putting together some detailed instructions to...
outline how to run both OEM SAT and this new Audi ipod adaptor. Kevinwagoneer has been sending me pix of the supplied instructions and parts within the box.
It will require you to:
1) move three pins/wires at the SAT tuner (very easy)
2) add three pins/wires at the SAT tuner (ver easy) and route to behind HU and splice into Audi Ipod wiring adaptor
See www.nsxjr.com for some info on how to use the audio "pass through" on your SAT tuner. Lee Hicks put together a pdf on how to rewire this. All the details are in there....but we need to adapt that info for the ipod adaptor...so it will be a tad different. Happy reading!!
Give me a week or so to assemble some info. This is all based on theory....but should work.

It's easier than that. Only 3 wires.
I did it today. Check it out...<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a4b7/msgs/28900.phtml">https://forums.audiworld.com/a4b7/msgs/28900.phtml</a></li></ul>

yes, I read that. but the SAT is in the trunk..and the ipod adaptor plugs in..
behind the Sym II/RNS-E.
Yes, only three wires are touched...at the sat tuner...and connected to three wires at the ipod adaptor.
