My B6 S4 Avant seems to have a place already in the glove box for an extra CD changer. Will the PhatNoise install in there? If so, do you still have to pull the head unit?

The PhatNoise seems to be way more expensive than most MP3 players but if installs in the glove box without much hassle and integrates nicely with the head unit then I may consider one.

I don't really want to install it in the trunk, plus the S4 already seems to have a box installed for Nav DVD where you'd expect a CD changer to go(even though I don't have NAV).

It will not fit in the glovebox, the factory changer spot is too narrow, and the entire glovebox is not deep enough. I have tried. It also will not fit in the nav location, the opening isnt wide enough, I have also tried. I REFUSE to drill holes in the trim panel, so for now my phatbox is secured by my luggage net until I can get a warm enough day to figure something custom out.

Do you have sat radio installed? If so, the 2 are not yet able to be hooked up simultaniously, although I am very close to solving that problem.
