Default Should I replace head unit or just add a DVD player?
I've got a 99 A6 wagon with the Concert HU and a disk changer. I need to add a DVD player to shut the kids up. Can I easily swap out the head unit and still use whatever amps and speakers are already in the car (bose setup without subwoofer)? If so, I assume that's the way to go. Otherwise I'll just get an external payer and buy an aux in device. Any ideas on what makes the most sense?

Default If you elect to replace, I am interested in the old Concert I head unit.
My wife destroys the Cassette players at the rate of one per 9 months. It would be nice to have a spare.

IIRC, 8 tracks will only fast forward, not rewind. Whoops - is my age showing? =P
