Default IceLink firmware update and error 13??

Today I attempted to update the firmware from 2.05 to 2.15 in my 2002 TT with a Concert II radio. I sellected update icelink from the icelink interface and it started. The counter on the radio gets to about track 34, then the radio switches to the FM source. After a minute the iPod displays error 13.

Any one else experience this problem?

I also tried to update it by sellecting the update file in the playlist and inserting the iPod into the craddle. Every update file to 790 is played, but the display never mentions to turn off/on the ignition and sellect CD. I tried that anyway. The unit still displays firmware 2.05 so the update never took hold.

The good news is I can still sellect the iPod interface to sellect music. I am a worried to mess with it as the instructions say if the process does not complete, that it may damage the icelink unit.

The Dension software is buggy, but for $20 I really cannot complain.

I did a 2.05 to 2.15 and the firmware 'took' but the iPod goes into Pause mode when I put it in the cradle.
Has anyone gone back to an older firmware package?
Any other ideas?
I don't have the "audi" playlist names on the ipod, but it used to work fine in 2.05.

Default Not sure if that's a problem though because ...

my ipod goes into pause mode when you unplug the headphones anyway (it's a 4G ipod). I noticed that with the icelink and just thought that's normal. The revision history between 2.15 and 2.17 doesn't look significant and others here have commented there's no need to update. I only went to 2.17 because I couldn't get a 2.15 from Dension but could get the 2.17, and that is definitely better than 2.05 - feels more responsive.

Default Need new firmware

2006 A3 bose/nav. I finally have the right cable for my icelink plus but the software (2.05) is non-responsive on the ipod, erratic to switch tracks and doesn't recognize random on my ipod or my NAV radio.

Need new firmware...can't seem to find...please post.
