Default Hello. I just got a B6 A4 and the stock bass is kind of lacking. What's a good solution

to get a little more bass response from the deck subwoofer? I have a Bose system. Looking for the simplest solution.

Default I say for better bass, unplug the sub and see what you think.

The bass from the sub sounds so bad, it masks the better bass coming out of the fronts.

Sounds goofy, I know - but it IS simple.

Default add a box to it , and hook it directly up to the

bose sub like I did. sounds great, and alot less wiring......just hook the box directly up to the subs in the bose speaker box in the trunk....it'll sound great believe me........

Default no.....just go to your bose sub set up take one speaker out, then tap....

into the speaker connection on the speaker and then run the wire to the box. I have been running 4-8 inch woofers in a box the I made this summer and it sounds just fine. Plenty of extra bass, with no added amp.....

Default Oh.. and one more thing....if you have an mp3 player hooked up in your car it

will sound even better. Because the mp3 player will act as an amp and boost the power a little. The one I have has internal EQ controls and I can set the bass just right. I leave my Bose radio controlled bass at -3 when using my mp3 player, and I still have plenty of bass in my car.....

Is it as simple as pulling the wires to try without the stock sub woofer? I agree the base in my non bose system is pitiful. I get better base in my 2003 tacoma pickup!
