Hi guys I'm new to forums I've been reading up but never posted so please help.

So here goes I've just bought myself an audi s3 2010. It's got the Bose speakers which I think come as standard. But there not all that good. The distort above 'normal' volume. And have no 'real' base. I know there's an option where you get a sub and amp, I don't have that. But I'd like to use the sane space audi used to keep it discreet.

I wanted to upgrade front speakers to focal - which ones
Which amp to use?
Which sub to use?
Also it want to keep the original DVD/sat nav head unit. Can I use something to clear up the signal from this?

Also guys I don't want to go crazy with the budget I'd set it around 600-1000. Depending on what I get for my money.

The bose system is customized for the speakers in there. Replacing them without the tweaking of the head unit may not give optimum results

Hi thanks for the reply. I was also looking to get one of those signal processors to clean up the signal from the head unit. The main thing I want is to get some good base in there, but not by sticking a big base box in the back like those boy racers. It's more about the quality of sound and neat standard look?

Do you have any advise?
