Looks sweet...............but
beware Nak Mobile. They sound unbelieveable, but I've had two of their decks and they both self destructed. I love their home gear, but their mobile stuff is VERY fragile. Too many plastic internals.
At the very least, make sure you've gotten it from an authorized retailer, but better yet, if you've still got the receipt.........

Thanks Mark. I remember reading you had some problems with your Nak stuff,
this head unit is just a tuner/controller for the pre amp, and they both have 3D viscous suspension (basically spring dampened chassis), so maybe that'll help. The TP-1200 is pretty scarce here in the states, but popular over seas. Here is a link if you are interested.

http://www.nakamichi.com/auto/tuner/TP1200.HTML</a

Yea, I heard they were bought a few years ago by some bigger conglomerate...
now instead of a mom-n-pop operation making top quality uncompromising stuff, they've turned into another Sony... complete with the same "pump out as many as you can as fast as you can and as cheap as you can" philosophy.

It's been about 9 years now, and having been very impressed with their home gear, I checked out
their mobile audio stuff. CHEAP. And from what I heard, and was told, it's just as expensive as before, but half the quality. The ergonomics of their head units stunk also. Small black buttons that all feel the same in the dark, and don't light up. NO WAY. Went with Alpine, and very pleased all the way around.
