What do you guys on here do for a living???
The Audi R8 is my dream car, but it is waaaaaay out of my price rage. So I was just wondering what do you R8 owners do for a living? What does it take to own an R8?

I own machine shop that specializes in the build/design/repair off road race vehicles. - but that's not what pays the bills.. Damn. I got lucky in the 80's in the stock market and life's been good ever since.

the only thing it takes to own an R8 is money. there a million ways to make money.

and how you get it or don't spend it allows for other pleasures. I know our neighbors
think that we are freaks because I refinish deck furniture whilst we have an R8 and an M Coupe in the garage. (love the fact that they think the M Coupe is the 1 series and brand new - idiots!) Somehow they think we should be spending gads of money on new stuff when the old works just fine.
Don't try and keep up with the Joneses, it's nothing more than a pissing contest neither will win. Do what makes you happy and everyone else be damned.
Oh and FYI, I do wine. I love getting paid to drink!
