Default Someone with both an rs4 and r8, can you please help...

Does the steering fluid cap from the R8 fit the steering fluid reservoir on the Rs4?

I have both, but it'll be Monday before they are together... if you don't know by then, I'll try.

Default How does that matte finish hold up to rock chips?

Does it peel it right off at the spot of impact?

Default So far so good... one tiny spot about this big -> o ... It didn't peal though...

... and the car is black underneath. The bigger issue is that it scratches easily and any oil on it can stain it. The scratches come out sun or a heat gun and the oil comes out with denatured alchohol. Caring for it takes some getting used to.

Default Isn't your finish the same as 3m shields?

Your car is wrapped correct? I never thought about what kind of up keep you would have with that product.

Default Unfortunatly no... 3M is a protective film, vinyl wraps are mostly for looks...

... most folks with vinyl wraps will print graphics or something on the vinyl (race cars and buses and PT Cruisers advertising Jamba juice). It does offer some protection, but nothing close to what 3M does.
