Well the day finally arrived. Working with Jim Ellis in Atlanta has been a wonderful experience. They are a great team and really do the brand well. I would like to say thank you to Tracie Dean (GM) and Patrick Wolfe (Sales Specialist) for all their hard work. The result speaks for itself.

On to the car....lets just say that if you are one of the lucky ones to take possession of this beast you are in for a treat. You are also in for more looks and questions from the public than you can imagine. This car creates a buzz that I have never seen before. Most comments go like this.... "Its the most beautiful car that has ever graced the street" or "this thing is badass, is it really an Audi?". The point is that if you own it and want to keep a low profile, its not going to happen.

On the road the car is everything that my previous experiences had told me. Poised like a GT car but reflexes like the finest sportscars on the planet.

Our R&D has already begun. This car is destined for a very special place at the SEMA show with a world famous company. I cannot reveal what it is but rest assured it will be well covered. We will release a Stg1 and Stg 2 package soon afterwards.

Stay Tuned!

Default sweet! thanks for posting! I have a question...

since you have both the 997TT and the R8, pure performance figures and tuning potential aside, which is the better car out of the box? Overall that is. Never driven an R8 but I've driven a 997TT before and felt the throttle response was nothing like a normally aspirated car despite the variable geometry turbos and also thought the sounds coming from the car was a bit uninspiring compared to the wail of a GT3 or a nice V8 like on the R8 or RS4.

Being #5 on the short dealer list, it looks like I'll be waiting a while for my R8 but i've been seriously considering getting a 997TT instead which I can have now.

btw, did you get the gated manual box or the R-tronic? got interior pics?
