UK: Audi Q8 Vorsprung Tyre Crabbing/dragging
Hi All,
I hope you are doing well.
I have just purchased a 2019 Audi Q8 Vorsprung. The car comes with 22" tyres (Continental Sport Contact 6 285/40 R22).
Since I picked it up I have noticed quite a bit of tyre "crabbing"/ resistance when I turn. This mostly happens on full lock but can also happen on tighter turns.
I will of course bring it up with the dealer but before doing so I was keen to sound out Q8 owner to see if you have noticed something similar.
Many thanks in advance for any help you can offer.
PS: Apologies for reposting this but I messed up the original title and being a newbie I am unable to delete my post.

Mine has also developed this issue only recently. Spoke with my technician and he says it is to do with uneven tyre threads. I will be changing all 4 tyres next week and we'll see if that fixes it.

Mine is doing the same thing but only in full lock. I considered it as a normal thing as other 4wd cars have done similar things in full lock but if you are telling that it is not normal, I might tell dealership to take a look at it on the next inspection, because mine is still under warranty.

My Q8 ACC stopped working over the weekend, took it to the dealer today and left it there for repairs + told them about the noise when full lock as well. Well see if they think its normal or not. Will let you know as well.
