Found this thread as I was considering the Dynamic Friction 5000's for my '22 SQ7 (wrong forum, I know!). For those that used these... did you swap rotors as well? Did you just do a pad slap? I have 33k miles and all 4 corners need pads, but rather than drop $2500 on OE pads and rotors, I'm considering just doing a pad slap with these dynamic friction pads and seeing if I can squeeze some more life out of the rotors.
Alternatively, I was considering just doing the dynamic friction rotors at the same time... they're reasonably priced (OE rotors are $700 a piece).
Thoughts?

Got it thanks. I would normally do pads and rotors together, but with the insane cost of OE rotors, I'm debating between 1. pads only (I guess I'll have to pull the rotors first and mic them), 2. pads + OE rotors, 3. pads + dynamic friction rotors.

33k miles unless you were doing AutoX your rotors should be good for another set of pads. You can use a measuring caliper to ensure the thickness is within spec
