We placed an SQ8 order two months ago and the dealer still hasn’t received an allocation. Does anyone know of high volume dealerships with more allocations? I’m happy to purchase the car from another state and ship it.

Not sure about allocations, but a quick check of inventory in Houston/Austin/Dallas/Fort Worth/San Antonio shows that there are 21 Model Year 2022 SQ8's that are either already in stock or in transit from the factory. Supplies of 2022 SQ8's appear to be coming through now, at least in the US. Unless your order was for an Audi Excusive build, I'm sure you'll find something close to your requirements if you shop around. Good luck!

I'd been looking for such a beast for the last few weeks and found very very few. Not to disagree with BRITinUS, unless he (she) has access to the Audi system which shows sold orders (which may very well be the case) virtually all the cars I saw on AudiOffers were sold. Apparently the system that controls that site is unable (or unwilling) to distinguish between incoming cars that have been sold and those that have not. What kind of colors/options are you looking for? I know of one dealer by me who might have one available, but I believe it's White over Arras Red.

That’s typically been my experience as well… might get lucky with someone cancelling one of those orders that just arrived.

We are looking for white on black with the black optic pkg. May have been a couple other packages that I can’t remember off the top of my head.

At a minimum, it’s probably worth calling around. For whatever reason, local dealers in Minneapolis St Paul never seem to get good allocations. Bought my 21 Escalade recently out of state and a Denali before that.

There have not been allocations published since August. You will have a significant wait still to go

If looking on dealer sites, they show cars that are already presold too.

There are a grand total of 51 SQ8's in stock, in transit from port to dealer, at port, and on the water from the factory, for the entire US. 34 are still at the factory

To give you an idea on timing, the in stock units are vehicles ordered December 2020-January 2021, which were supposed to be 21's, and pushed to 22's. the ones at port were ordered January-Feb 2021. The ones in transit from factory were ordered Jan-April 21. The ones still at the factory were ordered April-June 2020.

My August ‘21 SQ8 order began its build early December. Hoping I get news it is ready to ship by mid-January.

Have seen a few SQ8s for sale on AutoTrader, guessing dealer wants ADM for any that linger around.
