I have a bit of an itch to improve on the factory exhaust sound...it sounds great actually but I would like a little more sound out of it, a touch louder if you will.
Any suggestions? Don't want to go crazy as this is my daily and my R8 is plenty loud already for the fun days...
There a long thread where we had a guy replace his downpipes w a catless version. He also removed resonators. Ultimately, the catless downpipes were too much in the way of fumes for him, and I recall one of the resonators he added back - because it improved the exhaust note. I will see if I can find the thread and post it here.
Longbird was going to instal in his RSQ8 the exhaust from Urus. However I don't know the final result. Perhaps Longbird will share here his experience.
You can find easily used Urus exhaust in the net in reasonable prices.
Anyone has ever come across these type of square tips?
Instead of replacing the rear valence ,just cut out the plastic that is inside the glossy black trim and have a nice black or carbon exhaust tip installed . I think it would look more OEM.

You will also have to modify the muffler end pipes because they are originally curved downwards.
May I ask with the stock exhaust, when you decelerate or when you let go of the gas in dynamic mode, do you get any burbling (not pops and bangs) from the stock exhaust? I get that consistently with the cayenne but in any of the review I watch with the RSq8 I don't really hear it. Thanks
