iPhone overheating while Wireless Charging

The charger designed directly for the iPhone has a circular magnet, which allows it to be precisely centered, and also has an optimized magnetic field, which in total allows you to charge the iPhone efficiently.
The car has a universal charger installed and the magnetic field is not distributed optimally. That's why the phone gets hot and doesn't charge well. Nothing can be done about this; physics cannot be fooled.

Frankly, the first time I ever saw a message on my phone indicating charging was suspended because the phone was too hot was when I tried to use the wireless charging in my SQ8.
I've given up trying to charge wirelessly; I just leave a USB cable in the center compartment and plug my iPhone 14 in to that. Faster, too.

2024 Q4. Same deal.
Way too hot. Was streaming and commuting an hour. About 25% added charge. But with this heat id literally believe it affects the EV range as well. Stupid. And likely dangerous...
