My 2022 RSQ8 just arrived a few days ago (Nov 28) to Halifax. Supposed to leave Halifax on a train or truck tomorrow (Dec 1) to its final destination here in Toronto.
I didn't order the car myself, I was lucky enough to find a cancelled deal at the end of October on the perfect spec for me so I put a deposit and I've been waiting since then.

Here's the timeline:

Car was originally ordered in May 2021
Production was scheduled for the 35th week of 2021 (August 30th approx)
Finished Production on October 19, 2021
Shipped out November 18, 2021

The posts on this forum and on the facebook page help me realize that I will not be disappointed. I can deal with the wait time as I am currently driving a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT as my daily which is a lot of fun but totally missing all the luxury of an Audi. I'm in for a long wait and trying not to focus on it!
NICE upgrade!!

I have never bought a car without first driving a similar vehicle. While Audi have demonstrators you can drive for most of their range, unfortunately that was not the case for the RS Q8 -and I get it. I would certainly expect that any new RS Q8 I buy would not have been driven previously by other potential buyers. After ordering my 2022 RS Q8 at the dealership I started looking for used RS Q8s at non-Audi dealerships and took one of those for a test drive. The experience exceeded my expectations in every way! I'm now salivating in anticipation.......

I also ordered my RSQ8 without test driving one but since I was able to test drive a SQ7 I got the idea Of what the power train will feel like. That and having owned many Audis in the past and watching a bunch of reviews I’m pretty confident that I will love the way it’ll drive. I even ordered a colour which I’ve only seen twice in person on a different car too.

For those taking possession of 2022 RS Q8's, were the roof rack cross bars included in your vehicle? I could see this being an option Audi would eliminate for MY 2022 in order to save costs.

I haven’t picked up my 22 yet but from what I know and have seen in the past, it’s usually packaged in the trunk so if you need it, it’s there.

I’ll update once I pick up my car next week hopefully

Default Got my Step 2 email from Audi

Just received an email from Audi saying my SQ8 has begun production!! I assume it will take a month to build and another 30-45 days in transit. Holidays may delay I would assume.

Got our 2022 Audi Q8 in Charleston, SC last Thursday. It's our first Audi in a long line of vehicles. Made a quick 500-mile roundtrip to Asheville for the weekend. What a car! Audi barely mentions Lane Keeping Assist in their literature. It's flawless and ran circles around our Tesla. Not a single hiccup in 500 miles. Every other feature was as near perfect as a modern automobile could be. Love it!

Congrats! Interesting what you noted about LKA. Coming from a Volvo I have found Audi’s execution somewhat lacking. It doesn’t seem as consistent - in the same stretch of road it’s active some times and inactive others. Also doesn’t seem to predict drift - it usually only corrects after I hit/cross a line. May just need calibrating but curious what others think. Love everything else about the car other than it’s not an RS

Is your Q8 a 2022 vehicle?? Ours does automatic lane centering unlike the ping pong effect in year's past.
