2022 Production Delayed?

I think I just got pretty lucky. My SQ8 order from May was pushed all the way to a January delivery date. Just for fun, I googled 2022 SQ8 and found my exact build at a dealer 2 hours away. I didn't even think any were stateside yet. Feel kinda bad for the sales guy I was working with, but what's a guy to do? I threw down a deposit. Hopefully I can pick it up next week!

Current state of Audi Q/SQ/RSQ8 production factory. Looks like they have been on pause and are scheduled to resume September 6.

Got the car! Pretty geeked! This was odd though... It does have the wireless charging pad (which does not seem to work very reliably) and direct TPMS (it is displaying the exact pressure and temperature of the tires). I guess it's an early 2022, so they must have cut these features out at some point after MY change. Only one key fob though.
It also does have wireless Android auto...if anyone was wondering about whether or not the 2022s would have that.

Congrats!! FYI the wireless charging removal and direct TPMS removal are for Q/A models no S models or above will have those items removed

my first post here. We ordered (in the UK) a q7 55 tfsie (phev) vorsprung back in May. Build week was given then as week 41, and I have just asked for an update and build week is now 40, which is nice. Hopefully as only 4.5 weeks off that slots will hold and we will have our new car sometime in November.

we ordered q8 luxury (in japan there are 3 variances base model, S-line, and Luxury) and I was told that the chip for the panoramic sunroof is causing the delay and if i agree to order Q8 without a sunroof they will be able to deliver by December. my question is "can we get the chip installed later and till then do not use the sunroof"???
