Q6 e-tron reviews

The Macan (PPE) just looks like it is a much better-appointed car.
I just don't get why Audi has given up the "luxury" spec to solely the Q8 e-tron. So weird that the Macan can be configured with massaging and heated and ventilated seats and the Q6 cannot. Yes, there is a price point difference.

Ultimately we will have to wait for the US build guides. There is a small chance that the luxury will be available for US builds.

I think it looks pretty darn nice really, love the screen and look forward to Audi filling out the lineup.
But these cars are all very evolutionary at this stage, so the risk in building top shelf fine luxury cars that in some ways will become obsolete is that it’s really hard to see where EV’s will end up in the most fundamental sense in 10-15 years. The depreciation we are seeing is exactly as I predicted it would be in these high priced luxury EV’s, hence my lease-only approach until at least 2030. I imagine this makes the strategy behind the lineup and finishes hard to chart for the companies.
At first the Q6 announcement surprised me honestly, but they have to get moving on the PPE platform so maybe this is not supposed to actually fit in-between the Q4 and Q8 as much as some might think. It’s the start of where Audi EV’s on PPE are going to go.
I really want an EV A6 but it’s taking awhile. My first Audi was a 2012 prestige A4 and I loved that car, loved the 2017 RS7 that followed. I’m not really a “Q” guy but I think the Sportbacks are a nice compromise, especially when I can crank it up in off-road mode and just goose it over a foot of fresh snow in our driveway. My son works for a large dealership and got me a great deal on my first lease with my 2021 Sportback, been a great car. And now he has done it again with the 2024 Launch Edition Sportback I get in a week. So I am good waiting for the etron A6 until my lease is up in 2027.
For now, I look forward to driving my 2024 Q8.
