Yes, I do have wireless charging. I am surprised the Prestige trim does not have it. Must be bad timing with parts shortage.

Yeah I'm not *thrilled* about the omission but if I'm being realistic I also know that wireless charging + wireless CarPlay = slow battery drain, so realistically I'm better off plugging in. If I decide I really can't live without it, it'll be fairly simple to add a solution one way or another.

So I ordered my 2023 Q4 Prestige SUV approximately mid-September as part of my dealership's first 4 allocations of 2023 MY Q4s. Yesterday (Nov 7, 2022), I contacted my dealership to ask if, since that first allocation group, had they received any additional allocations from Audi. They had received only 2. I was attempting to guess how rapidly Audi might be building Q4s. Higher allocation figures should mean higher volume. Anyway, during the call, I also asked if he had any information about when the car might arrive. He said he's seeing a Feb 17-Mar 9 2023 delivery to dealer date range currently, which fits the timeline my salesman (a different person than the one I spoke with yesterday) said -- March 2023. I guess we'll see what happens, but I thought I'd share another data point with everyone.

Update here: Car finished port accessory installs at end of last week and now just has to get to the dealer. I should have it "before thanksgiving" for sure, and possibly by as soon as this weekend, but more like next weekend in all likelihood.

I ordered a base Premium w/Convenience Package a month ago and was also quoted 6 months up to 8 months so that should be a fairly accurate time frame. Unlike most buyers, I am worried about getting it too soon as I ordered it in the Boston area and will be down South until end of April. Similar to ordering a BMW, you should be able to track your car from build to transport to dealership. My salesperson said that this can be done once they generate the VIN at production time which in my case should be the start of February. In the past, I was able to do this when I ordered a BMW.

Looking at the 2023 window sticker, it looks like the high voltage battery warranty was reduced to 5 years / 60k miles in the US. Anyone hear about this?

I ordered the Prestige version for the wife. You have black optics on it? She is very excited.

Congrats! Very sharp looking. I'll be interested to hear more experiences regarding efficiency around town and on the highway. Enjoy!
