I ordered mine a few weeks ago. Salesman estimated March delivery. How'd you arrive to the March date?

Seems they ordered it a week or so ago and didn't tell me. I have a copy of the COMM order w/ the anticipated ETA.

Nice! I've got a white 2023 Prestige with black optics ordered (no ETA that I'm aware of but got the COMM number, and the email from Audi) … but I'm 99% going to buy the 2022 white Prestige S-Line+ that is en route from Germany to a different dealer in my area. My dealer has been great but this nonsense with Audi removing the sport seats and flattened steering wheel as options for the 2023 SUV body (non-sportback) *really* annoys me.

I'm a little concerned about buying a 2022. They have sat at the port for months. And I've heard the 2023's might have plug and charge while the 2022's wont.

To my knowledge, the initial lot meant to be demos for dealers were the ones being held at port. Mainly because Audi was not ready to start selling in US for whatever reason. But then they started sending more - if you see these are actually coming from Germany and taking weeks in some cases. I doubt they have the US ones held at a Germany lot for a long time especially with the shortages in other markets - UK folks have more than a year of wait time. So I would think these are built recently. Is there a way to check production date?

Yeah I specifically wanted to avoid anything that I knew had been sitting in the US ports for a while but mine's on a ship right now, so I'm HOPING it's been built more recently, and the VIN is much higher than the demo model I test drove.

As for plug and charge… yeah I'm hoping that it'll come to them all (apparently the Audi rep that the fellow from AudiWorld interviewed said it's the same software so…) but ultimately the seats are more important to me, I need that extended thigh support.

The VINs should be fairly sequential, but the door plate will also note the month it was built in. Mine's halfway across the Atlantic right now, I'll post that info once I get it.

Mentioned in the other thread, but I just checked mine. Built in Germany July 2022, arrived at dealer Sep 2022. Not a port hold.

Do you have the wireless charger, btw? I think that's the only weird casualty to mine.

ETA to Houston is Monday and then… idk how long to get to me. Maybe 3 weeks? Will post build date once I take delivery.
