What's a bad wheel bearing sound like?
I get this "wob wob wob wob" noise right around 35 - 40 mph most noticeable on smooth surfac and it seems to be coming from the right front. I thought wheels weren't balanced or at least one is bent. Car drives straight and steering wheel does not shake at all. (just had the wheel balanced - same results) I checked each wheel by jacking it up to check for play but there is none. Could it the the kind/type of tires that they are? I don't hear them at higher speeds. Tires are Kuhmo Supra 712. If it's a driveline issue, wouldn't the sound be there all the time?

The sound changes with the angle of the steering wheel.

If it's not consistent, it may just be surface crap on the hub not gelling with the back of wheel.
I've gotten little groan-y sounds that sound a lot like a deteriorating bearing, but aren't. And it has happened on several S-cars, and always after changin rims. Usually goes away after the rim seats in.

My bet is a bent rim or uneven tire wear
You'll need to jack the tires up again and rotate them to look for a bent rim or uneven wear. Check all 4 because the sound is hard to locate while driving and could be any of them.
I just picked up a similar noise as a result of hitting a pot hole (O how I love MI roads!) I suspect a bent rim, but I haven't had time to check.

That's what I was thinking too..
I am going to swap my old set and see if the noise goes away. I always thought a bent rim would cause a little steering wheel shake.
