Default What does this plug into?

Took a look at the relays behind the passenger side kick panel and noticed a plug just dangling there. It looks as though it was plugged into something, but maybe the PO or grease monkey unplugged it. It's not the clearest picture but its the purple/pink plug in the center of the picture. Where does it go?

it looks like its the top speed limiter... unplugged to deactivate it... only way to tell would be to take her up to 130+mph - if you get there its the speed limiter...

I don't think it's that plug. The size and configuration is different. My plug is a straight, small, four pin [----] plug that has wires going only to the two center pins.

Default Whatever it is, it isn't the speed limiter. If you want to know where that is, go to...

Lots of other good stuff there too. Ned Ritchie does good chips and can to custom maps and turbos and has his own exhaust manifold design.

My car has the same plug behind the passenger side kick panel .... its probably just a feature we dont have.

I have a exploded wiring diagram for the UrS tell me the color codes of the wires leading to the plug and i can try to find it (im too lazy to go look at my own car)

Agreed Ned has his own manifold (which is still an RS2 EM copy whatever you guys can say) but I can assure you he does nothing custom, and especially no custom maps. All he does is burn chips and sell them but he can't even tell you how much advance his chips are running. Stop thinking Ned is God, Ned ISN'T GOD!!!!!!!!!!!

I stand corrected, Mihnea is apparently GOD. (At least , in his opinion).

Sorry mate, I'm not God and I've never pretended I was, but I certainly know more about Motronic programming than most people who think they are tuners in the US, and I'm saying that with no false modesty, simply because I know how much I've invested in my knowledge and where it comes from. If you don't believe it, it won't change my life, I just know what I know, and some people here are also starting to be aware of that.

No offense taken anyway,

Mihnea

Default The thing was I never said Ned was a God, just that he does have 'custom' programs to...

fit the situation, i.e. the particular set of turbo, cams, injectors, EM, etc. that you happen to want to work. However, I will take issue on your statement that the EM is a clone of the RS2 manifold. It is not. It is likely better, i.e. closer to a header than the RS2 manifold. Ned also 'arranged' hybrid turbo's before many others caught on to this possibility. So, on that basis, I guess I will say, Ned is somewhat of a "God", at least in the North American Audi sense. You can be a "god" too, in the Begium/European/cross the ocean to North American sense, if you want. (I know no one who runs your software so I can not make a judgement)
