What do you guys think is our 5spd tranny swap-able into a b5 S4 with auto tranny..

I know I know this sounds stupid but want to know your opinions.I will have a salvaged B5 S4 with auto tranny this weekend and + I have my old 5spd out of my UrS4 so I was just wondering if it was doable,I know I'll need some other parts "cluch pedal,cl. master cyl,slave cyl etc...I don't know about the ECU though.

You'll need to swap the ECU as well

It's way too painful to simulate tranny.

Waste of time and effort.

There is a fully drivable non-salavge automatic S4 with just over 100k miles on Audifans. Don't bother with salvage.

If you want an S4 with a manual, buy one. This project is doomed from the word "go". You might get it working, but the result will be more expensive and less desirable than you imagine.
