I would push a 5K Avant to work before I'd drive that thing anywhere. "Eagle, Turn Mullet On"..
As in go-go gadget mullet, or 'KIT'. Ya never know when you might a mullet on the fly in that ride..

Another cruiser owner eh. I have worked on my share of Landcrunchers over the years.

I see that yours is a FJ62. They definitely ran alot sweeter when they fuel injected them and did not have the manifold problems like the FJ60's. I really like the first couple years of the FJ80 too before they put the plastic fender flairs on them and gold script.

Yeah, I remember seeing yours on the SFestWest albums....
it brought back memories of my friends FJ40's and my never ending quest to find a rust-free FJ55.
Know of one ?
I always thought it would be the perfect tow vehicle for a Toyota 2000GT vintage track racer.

Did'nt Marlin Perkins drive one of those in Mutual of Omahas Wildlife Kingdom?
Actually it may have been a FJ45 wagon. My first TLC was a 1978 FJ55, I got it in 1983 and it was already starting to rust. I don't know what was with those 55's but they rusted to beat the band. They are awesome rigs though, I swear that thing would climb a tree. If you wanted to tow a car trailer with one you would definitely need a V8, unless you wanted to go really, really, really slow. =)
