Thanks!! Which commpany is NED with? I see Alex on above link. Was Ned the Hoppen one? Should I consider the one from Alex over Shadetree who is local for me (Denver)?

Ned Ritchie was the owner of IA, Intended Acceleration. Ned did lots good work with regard to chip tuning the Type 44 10v turbos and the C4 20V turbos. I believe Ned was able to break the original source codes of some of the European tuners. He did not sell MTM chips. At one time he had developed his own version of the RS2 exhaust manifold and a hybrid turbo. But that is in the past. Ned sold IA to Alex.

Talk to both Steve Eiche at Shadetree and Alex before you make your decision.

So would you say that Alex's intended acceleration might help me out more than Shadetree? Whos will help me out most with turbo lag or are they very much both going to be fine?

I can only speak about Alex at this point, Ned was the original tuner on my car and it was good at Stage 3, Alex has since done some work and we're going to be updating a bit more now that we're at S3+ by adding a Wagner EM and a ball bearing turbo similar to the RS2 comp unit and a new, larger downpipe. I hear that there is no need to go after the intake side other than a FMIC.

That'll all require additional updates to the software and of course we'll be going to new injectors.

I've already done the fuel pump as we were at the limit of the stock unit.

All I can say about Alex is that he's always been fair, has usually had all the bits on hand and is honest to a fault when it comes to working on the car and his rates are very good.

Having owned Porsche's and tracked them over the years I'm familiar with process and I'm quite happy working with Alex and see no reason to go anywhere else.
