The nearest audi dealership is ~50 minutes away, but there's a vw dealership maybe 10 minutes away. I read through 6 pages of threads and couldn't find anybody talking about a VW oil filter on their car. Just talk about S4 oil filters and 'diesel' oil filters, but with no specifics.

I assume it's the TDi; but there's a lot of TDi motors, they can't ALL use the same oil filter...can they?

Normally I'd order the filter online, but I'm kind of pressed for time and would like to have the oil change done either by today or tomorrow.

both sizes. the bigger one is the same used on early '80's diesels. I don't know what the tdi motors use. the smaller filter is the same used on 1.8ts, 2.0s, and 1.8s.

i get a case of mann filters for corrado g60.same as mk2 golf.jetta ..even 16v car i think

I just put the larger 1.8T filter on mine..fits like a glove..but does use .5 qts more oil
