For those of you who were having the "ECS Brake Squeal", found a solution that works......
My brakes were squealing so badly that I was no longer enjoying my car, I have the stage 2 kit with Mintex reds. At any speed below 40 mph, they would howl so loud that I would actually scare the crap out of anyone with an open window. The only way they didn't squeal "that bad" was to hit the brakes hard and late at every stop. That wasn't what I was looking for in a brake upgrade. After several e-mails back and forth with ECS, they recommended a silicone brake lubricant from a company called Castle. The website link is attached, I believe AZSantorin already posted it once.
When you call they will give you the number of the nearest distributor. Mine arrived about 5 days later, only cost about $20 and I only used about 1/10th of the tube.
Well, I took off the pads/calipers and followed the directions, using it wherever the metal part of the pad touches the caliper, making sure that everything was clean before applying. It's the consistancy of a thin silicone cauk. I put it all back together and took a drive, they still squealed and I was so pissed after having spend a few hours with the proceedure.
Well, I'm happy to report that after about a week, the squeal is 95% gone, only ever so often do I get a "faint" squeal and I do mean faint. I'm very happy with the results, maybe the stuff just needed a few miles to work itself in. Now we'll see how long it lasts. Good luck fellas.

http://www.castle-comply.com/Catalog/BrakeMaint/brakelife.html</a

Thx...I am changing pads..going w/ Porterfield R4-S Pads..will report results too
If that doesnt work I am going to dish out for the Stage 3 upgrade..which I have heard no reports of squealing.

Maybe add a little more to get rid of that 5%, my guess is it takes a lot of lube to keep them quite enough.
