I've been doing some looking into buying my first urS4 (Yay me) and was curious on anyones experience between the Total Audi Performance stage kits vs. the Hoppen and Anderson, which appear to be the same. The TAP kits offer the 2 chips, wastegate mod and 3 or 3.2 bar pressure sensor - so...why's the TAP kits claiming so much more? Their kit w. the 3.2 bar pressure sensor is close to 320HP - is this just cranking the hell out of the boost by altering the wastegate via whatever the little mod is you do to it? I notice the MTM kits don't even offer anything for the wastegate. Can someone offer any guidance or direction?

the general consensus is that MTM chips are way better. I went with the TAP chip because it was on my car when I bought it.

A couple of people here will say that TAP is fine. And you are correct to observe that they do mess with the WS alot. I'm not a big fan of that with these engines. You can get safer power by doing the ECU right. MTM was they way I went, and I totally loved my MTM stage 3+ UrS4. You may also want to check in with ASW in Colorado. They are putting alot of time and energy into knowing these cars...
