Some lessons learned:

Slower can be faster on glare ice.

*** hanging out oversteer driving sideways is faster than grip driving on snow.

I will never look at Pfeffermint Schnapps that comes in a plastic bottle quite the same way again.

After blowing 2 tanks of gas in 2 days on a 1000+ acre frozen lake with only about 3" of snow on it, no parking lot will ever be able to compare.
