just two tugs/jolts and we had him being dragged frontwards off the bank. Keep the power on and the train moving...hauled him out. woulda been slightly more helpful to have my diff-lock working.
there were doubters among the spectators, but that didn't last long.

Ive done similar with my A8L
Was at a jobsite in the rain and the jobsite access was a steep caliche hill. It was soaking wet slick chalky mud. The contractor's F250 4X4 diesels couldn't get up the hill. They'd sink and start to spin all 4 wheels and dig in one corner.
I made a bet my A8L could get up. Put it into Lo and the car slowly and steadily climbed up the hill. The EDL light was flashing like mad, but it made it up the hill. They couldn't believe it.
