RS2 Knock Offs on Ebay
Okay so I read the old threads on the Chinese manifolds but has anyone been running one? I am in the market for either one of these, if they last, or an oem one. Unless someone is making knock-off sport manifolds now?
Apologies if this has been discussed recently, I'm just looking for Coles notes version of BTDTs
cheers, Mike
several ur-qs in various states

How can you talk so much crap about this mani if you have never had one?
Unless I am mistaken? The thing is built like a tank and is much more beefy than a tubular mani and much easier to install than the RS2 by about a thousand times. I saw your posts up on motorgeek and all of your claims were just half arsed...

well besides the fact that its completely unproven, and proven to be unevenly heated
kinda tricked them into saying it if you actually read into things (the blue spot being the coldest rest of the mani being grey hot (due to being stainless) = going to crack). The fact is they need to do a ton more R&D on their products and test the **** out of them before they sell them to my S-car bretheren only to have them fail and use them as their testers without telling. Also everything welded that has come out of there has failed on my car and others in less than a month of driving on mine! (sorry a thousand dollar piece shouldnt fail in that amount of time especially since it was poor welds) So i just dont trust it and would hate to see someone spend 600 bucks to have is crack and have to be yanked off the car and recieve the same half assed not standing behind their product response that i did. This is also the same company that sent me a downpipe that was so far off from fitting it could of gone through the head.
If you want easy to take on and off your a half *** hack, sorry but the rs2 is a time and time again proven decent manifold that will last a lifetime.

tab i just dont trust it having people who have degrees in engineering, metallurgy and do fab for a
living all saying the same thing to me about it, which is crack prone and obstructed flow, and a couple people who dare oppose the motorgeek fan boy club have also said it on there as well.
If they had someone on staff with a degree in engineering or flow dynamics rig up a flow bench with the head attached to the mani and not just capping off each individual runner and flowing it would be much more accurate a test. Yes its going to flow better out of sheer larger pipe diameter but thats one runner at a time a head NEVER releases one pulse at a time there is always multiple pulses in a manifold while running.
In the end if they stand behind their products like they did with my manifold and dont even get me into the downpipe fiasco, i would run the other way.
