Just wanted to post some picture of my 97 (sorry its dirty), as far as i know its the only one in Nova Scotia

Cool, another 97.
How come your passenger tire is on backwards? (They're directional, that's the wrong direction)

ha wow thats true, had it down for inspection yesterday, they must of mounted them backwards. Never even noticed it. thanks

Hmmmm...TireRack confirms that, interesting. I would have said directional by that tread pattern alone, guess I was wrong.......

The wider tread blocks are the giveaway there, they usually go on the outside

Was that Ken? Hutchison's (??) car. Name isn't quite right. If it is, he had Lehmann chips in it.

Strange thing is the tires all say outside on the outside, but the right to tires turn the right direction and the left 2 tires turn backwards.

Where in NS are you? I'm in Moncton (NB). Mine's a '97 too.
Bring in up to Moncton for the VWOG show and shine (Audi's are welcome) on June 6th. I haven't attended since I had my '92 Jetta all pimped out, but I thought I'd check it out this year again.

Therefore they are not unidirectional tires. Not strange.
