I removed the OEM Audi phone a few months ago but notice that I hear a popping/snaping noise from the phone's center console speaker every few minutes or so. It's random when it happens. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

I don't know why it would do that but if you don't need to use the phone(which i'm sure you don't), go to the trunk on the driverside and remove the liner and remove the red fuse in the phone socket.......it won't pop after that!
