Default oxygen sensor...yes i searched

after looking through the archives, it seems the correct o2 sensor is Bosch 13019. i gave that part number to the guy i'm gonna order from and he says the number for it is 13-957. anyone know if this is the correct part? are these the same?! he's a keystone dealer but i have no idea if this is a keystone or bosch number

Default I'd order it somewhere that I knew would ship the correct part.

fap99 or someone like that.

Default This was discussed a few days ago.....couldn't have searched that hard 8^P.........

if you want the bosch unit with the connector call Tim over at Foreign Auto Parts (FAP99) on Ebay. He has the best price and I think he has one listed on Ebay right now in his store (link attached).

If you want to go cheap go with bosch 13913, it can be had for about $40 but you'll have to splice the wires. I'm using this one and have had no issues for over 30K.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Audi-V8-S4-S6-1992-95-5-Bosch-13957-Oxygen-Sensor_W0QQcmdZVi

Default 13019 is the 'correct' P/N

But there is another -- cheaper - recomended (by Bosch)one - it is the same sniffer as the high priced spread. Comes with a really nifty splicer block, too!

Default I purchased mine from Autohausaz, the 13019 for $90 almost 2 years ago...

Now, it's going for $122. I remember being told the 13019 was being phased out and the 13957 was the replacement that would work. I can't believe how prices on parts have been steadily increasing at such a rate.
I feel like an old man, for saying that

Default yeah, did a little more resarch later on on it does seem like the 13957 is a replacement...

i can get it for $110CAD so i think i'm gonna give it a shot. MUCH better than the $190-$270 that i was getting quoted from parts places and the dealer....

and i'm ordering from the local guy because he's local....and i'm also ordering a turbo kit for my Corrado this week. (gotta support the local guys if practical!)

Default Yes, good to support the local econ. when you can. $110 cad doesn't sound bad at all.

Corrado, my friend has a '89 with like 90k miles on it. Originally was to be a vr6 turbo, but some shady mechanic put an end to that. Now it sits, and looks to result in a crappy 2.0 n/a engine. Poor guy, but he just loves that car and it's unique style.
