Default ok what if i said Carbon fibre propshaft!!

Was in Tokyo the other day got chatting to a guy with a nissan skyline R34 with nismo parts, and he was telling me about his carbon fibre propshaft, and what a difference it has made in responce and apparently the carbon item weighs in at nearly a quater of the weight of the original.Blimey!! just thought how cool it would be to do that to our S cars?wonder how much it would cost and would the cost be worth the difference in peformance??034 its over to you??
Damien.

Guess you haven't seen an Audi CQ prop shaft. Front half is FRP or CF or Kevlar.

Default Actually rear portion is CF and it is actually heavier than the complete steel unit. Skip.

This was done on the cars that got an Air Bag for the first time...I can't remember the reasoning though.

Default LOL. Sorry, it was on the floor in Skollie's shop, out of his black CQ project car. I
