Need two new front tires... I was thinking of going wider than stock. What size do you recommend?

Hmm...
Not sure how that would effect the handling of the car..may create more of a rear end bias..but not certain. I would suggest changing all 4 to a wider tyre (assuming your rims can handle it) 245 to 250 is about as wide as you can go w/o rolling the fenders or having rubbing.

Re: Hmm...
With the help of a pair of wheel spacers, I'm wearing a set of 18x8.5 Simmons wheels up front, wrapped in 255/35/18 Toyo Proxes. 18x9.5 rear.. 255/35/18. no rubbing.. no drama.. lots of footprint.

Re: I believe his car is the one with the seidl kit at waterfest
The red S4 with the Seidl kit is my friend Kenny's car.. if I recall correctly, I believe he's running 235/35/19s all the way around.
I don't have any pics of my car, but I'll make sure to take a few pics and post them as soon as the car is finished up at the body shop.

Re: Ah, I saw the Clifton NJ thing and I figured it was the seidl one. I spoke briefly with Kenny a
Kenny and I are going to have similar set-ups once the Seidl kit is on and my car is back on the road. However, my car does not have a spoiler, and my mesh will be black. I personally feel the stainless steel mesh is too bright, too intense for my tastes. My car is also emerald as opposed to his "arrest me" red. So the emerald-on-black mesh look is probably going to seem a little more subdued. My 18s are aluminum, with polished lips.. I wish they were black, it would compliment the black mesh nicely.. but they're nice wheels (Simmons OM-18s [http://www.simmonswheel.com.au/range.html]), and won't look awkward on the car or anything. Can't wait for Waterfest 2004.
