Default My windshield washer spray stopped working after I ran out (yes, I refilled it).

I ran dry on my windshield washer fluid and by the time I was able to put more in the tank was totally empty (no spray came out at all).

After filling the tank again now the spray doesn't work at all. I can hear the pump working, but nothing comes out. Occasionally I do get a tiny spurt, but very rarely. It's totally dry. A mechanic told me that there could be something blocking the lines. How might I go about fixing this?

Without washer fluid in this weather the car is basically useless.

Thanks.

The car didn't sit, I filled it only minutes after running out. And it's winter fluid.

Ummm...ok then, how do I get it unfrozen? Car wash? Hair dryer?

"Buy" a "gun" that "shoots" "heat".

Captain Obvious would say to find a garage above 32 degrees.

Default Jonny, it's been pretty cold here lately. I'd guess the same unless you're finding washer fluid all

over the ground.

I'm not sure if a hair dryer would cut it, but it'd be worth a shot. If you work downtown, park in a heated parking lot and see if it works after a hard day's work. If it doesn't, then the line is clogged with something other than ice.

Good luck.
