You can also get 034 to modify a 7A head for you...

Default you can have any machine shop do that, however you have to make a cam position sensor rig cause they
is distrubuteddedededededs yarrrrr

Default TIA for letting me know. Not sure what the going rate is, but...
for it to be worthwhile for me, it'd have to be cheaper than getting my current head repaired. Any ideas? Feel free to shoot me an email if you get the chance.

Default Well, he knew it was the 3rd cyl that was stuttering... so we knew it was the headgasket or the head
that was causing it. So I guess he saw it when he was looking it over. That is, it was visible from his perspective (he did have to dissasemble part of the head to remove the valve springs and retainers).

Ouchies. My wallet is already starting to hurt. Seriously.
