Is installing the 3 spoke sport wheel a PITA?
I read the procedure over at s-cars.org, can anyone expound on that? The writeup was a little fuzzy, I didn't really care for the cut this spiral spring thing and JB weld it onto this other spring thing deal. Anyone figured out a cleaner way?

Not at all...
The write up in s-cars.org was a little hard to un derstand for me too. I have done it a few times now and it is easy, even the clockspring mod. Email me and I can give you more info.

I'd also be interested in any additional info
I've pretty much encountered the same issues and have the same concerns as DocWyte, so any additional info would be greatly appreciated.
