Default I've had Hawk HPS before, thought they were great.

Though, probably not for the track. Since I am doing other items on my car first, I will probably put a set on until I can upgrade the calipers.

Default for track pads, I've had good luck with the Hawk DTC-70's

but that was on Porsche Boxster S calipers. YMMV with the stockers..

Default I really like Porterfield R4S, if they make them for the G60s

Ran them on my GTI on both the street and track, and they were great.
The mintex red box I had before the porterfields sucked though, so avoid those.

Agreed...Hawk HBS110 HPS(High Performance Street) .654's are perfect for track use.

Default I have not had good luck with Pagids, they suck IMO, they squeal like a bish.

We had to quit using them at the shop due to squealing on many different kinds of cars. I have had good luck with Textars, PBR Metal Masters and now we are using mostly ceramic pads from a couple different manufacturers, Akebono, Wagner etc.

Default I run Axxis Metal Masters and never had a problem.

They will not fade or poop on your wheels. They have no initial grab which I like. If you need to stop faster you just push harder. They will rust themselves right to the rotor if your not carefull thou.

Default Pagids are great for track days.

I uss Pagid Oranges for the track and like them alot. The Porterfield R4S are good for the street. Textars are a bit cheaper than Porterfields and what I prefer for the street.
