Default The headlights are more squared off + I like the unpainted side moldings.

As for the wood, I'm talking about USA cars then.

Default Speaking of mirrors, the last body style (2000 something) Rolls pulled up behind me last weekend..

And I was checking out that hideous front gate that for some reason RR feels compelled to keep revamping and bolting onto the nose of their cars, and I said to myself, man those outside mirrors look familiar..

I should have rolled up next to him and said, "pardon me, but do you happen to have any massed produced Audi mirrors". Same mirrors as every other VAG product from the era. Kinda funny. I realize they are related with teh whole BMW / VW takeover mess that happened, but for the kinda dosh those things run, I'd want "special" mirrors.. ;-)

Default Hey... I know that car. You were at Petit, right?

Car looks great with '92 springs and those wheels. Right color too.

Man, I need to get rid of these Ranchos.

Default Yes I was...split time between the Audi tent and the "anti-corporate" gathering down @ turn 7

....one of the reasons I hunted for a 92 was the springs. I also wanted the abs-defeat. Of course the fact that this one was in San Diego and that meant getting to drive it back to NC wasn't a deterrent either.

Default I have a friend who built a nice S2000 track car

he was within 1.5 seconds of an F355 challenge car at the glen. for one lap, he ran the same time as the F355. on the 2nd lap at the same pace he stuffed the car. oops. very capable platform though, to say the least. and interestingly, you can sneak it into SPC with double the HP of a miata and nearly the same weight.
