I switch ingition to start position and then the trunk unlocks? WTF
Hi fellows
I have a problem with my ignition switch - when I turn it to start position it unlocks/pops up the trunk. Do I need to buy another "genuine" switch or theres something other than that wrong with my car?

Same problem here! Not sure what's causing it.

Thinking your trunk switch in the glove box is somehow jammed "in". Or there is a short. Many people do not know that the trunk switch in the glove box only works when the ignition is "ON", otherwise, nada. Hence the thought that the red button is jammed in or there is a wire shorting out.

Do you mean so a thief can break into the car get free access to the trunk?
You know they will look in the glove box for whatever and then discover the red WTF button and push it.
