How many years of you guy!!! before the bomb has gone?
It seems that my bomb which has been replaced last year is getting bad again.Today the car get stuck on the very traffic for an hour.
As long as my UrS6 has auto tranny so I need to apply more on the brake.Suddenly, the (!) light comes on.but the brake pedal is still working fine. After 1/2 hour,my brake pedal is getting pulsated. I've been experienced some kind of last 2 years. I need to use the hand brake assisted on the highway.that's very bad idea to run the car w/o brake !@#$%.When I get home I leave the car idling for a few minutes to let the bomb recharged the pressure til the (!) light comes off and off the engine.I tried to pumping on the brake. Finally, I got only 19 times before the pedal get hard again. My Brake servo,Bomb also been replaced the same times. But
I know this's sign of getting bad bomb.So I 'm just wondering how many years of your bomb lifetime before it died.mine is so short.Thinking about $$$ again.

Perhaps coincidence, but I noted that my brake pulsating on start-up and brake light...
coming on for 10-15 seconds appears to have been cured by replacing the hydraulic pump. I was convinced it was the bomb, but I ended-up having to change the pump first, so for now, my problem has gone away. I realize the pump is more expensive than the bomb, but maybe better than replacing the bomb every year?
Now that I have said that, I expect my friend "Murphy" to want to chime in so that my brake light can come back on...

Actually that might explain why my S6's bomb has lasted so long...
...it was replaced when I first owned it around 100k mi and then again when the rack and other p/s components were replaced. Hmmm.
I'm sure flushing the P/S fluid every few years would also help.

I'm considering the pump too............
The story's here.Last 2 years I has been experienced the pulsating on the brake pedal.
the issue seemed to be getting worst when the
time passed. Finally,It seemed the bomb couldn't be able to hold any pressure. It was pulsating all the times.I STFA but I'm not sure if the issue was really from the Bomb or the Brake servo.I've decide to go with the Brake Servo.
But It wasn't cured the issue. So i asked my friend who have just sold his UrS6 and got the new bomb on his hand.I bought the bomb and replaced it with the stock one.Bingo!!!! the pulsating has been gone.
Firstly,It seemed all the things ended. But I noticed that whenever I get the car on very traffic (as long as my car has Auto tranny) and need to apply more on the brake.
Seem the (!) will come on again and pulsating
pedal is back.
I'd supposed that my pump is weak because the steering wheel always rock hard when the car is on the idle and become lighter when I rev the engine.
Finally,I got the light in the dark.I got the good used of hydraulic pump from the junk.
I replaced the used pump on my car.and all the issue has gone away.(But now it's back again guy!!!)
Now everytimes when I start the engine in the morning.I always get (!)light to come on for 10-20secs sometimes it might take a bit longer.
I'd like to dump my $$$ on the right stuff.but anyone know how to test if this's really from bomb or the pump?Basically ,I've got 19-22 times when I performed the bomb testing.
I also checked the price of boths.Amazingly,At least in Thailand the Bomb is a bit more expensive than the pump.lol
